BBC - Stoppage Time Not Included

For the second week in a row, Sunday's football proved disappointing. Real Zaragoza v Mallorca looked to be heading to a draw, and was a draw according to BBC Sport, but we actually lost that one to a 94' minute penalty.

Football Elite had West Bromwich Albion v Manchester City as a Recommended Bet, but I didn't follow this one, as I was already on the draw. In the end, we were both wrong. I had West Bromwich Albion as the top form team and Man City as the worst form team, but in the end, class told in this one.

None of the 'weaker' draws worked out either, and the best pick of the day was Stuttgart at 2.58 who crushed Werder Bremen 6-0. Palermo were also a winner at 2.1, but Lazio, Levante (a short-list selection from FE) and Sampdoria all failed to win.

The EPL ratings have West Ham United, Blackpool and Wigan Athletic as the bottom three, with Newcastle United up to ninth.

In La Liga, Barcelona regained top spot in the ratings from Real Madrid, and in the Bundesliga, Borussia Dortmund are breathing down Bayern Munich's neck.

Sevilla v Valencia tonight is rated a weak draw.

1 comment:

  1. How did Barca regain the lead in your ELO ratings last weekend when Real beat a much stronger team, albeit at home? Real match not incorporated in the ratings yet due to the late KO time?
