While watching the opening game of the 2010 World Cup, with only a small financial interest (opening games are usually tight, but 1.54 on Unders was too short for me).
A draw was probably a fair result. Hosts don't lose their opening game, and unbeaten in 13 games, they have done better than their Elo rating suggests albeit with home advantage.
What was interesting was how the price on Unders dropped from 1.62 in the last few hours before kick-off. Uruguay v France has done the same, or is doing the same, so I've had a back at 1.64 with a view to laying off before kick-off.
This is the fourth World Cup with 32 teams and no Group has yet seen all six matches finish under or over 2.5 goals. 43.75% (2.38) of matches in 2002 and 2006 went over, with 52.08% (1.92) in 1998.
