Cane Toads

Close call on the Overs bet in the Brazil - North Korea match, but squeaked home in the end. No result in the Ivory Coast - Portugal game, and one goal short in the Slovakia - New Zealand game. Nothing to write home about there. Still a big advantage to Unders backers ahead 12-2 right now with an average per game of 2.38 now needed to beat the low of 1990.

Tournament favourites Spain make their debut tomorrow as the second phase of group matches begin with South Africa and Uruguay facing off.

Today's interest plays: Spain 1.32; Chile 1.25 DNB; South Africa v Uruguay DRAW 3.3

Before that I have backed the Maroons to win the second game of the State of Origin Series. Having won the first game in Sydney, albeit only by 4 points, home advantage should see my money safe at 1.5.
